Zero to a year in one million? • Entrepreneur Forums •

Here's a question for the forum members - if you had to go from zero to one year in one million, what would you do to get there?

Evan Carmichael, Site Owner

I Adult Webcam definitely be watching this thread then!
In fact there is a book on this, it was written by Robert Allen
The One Minute Millionaire by Mark Victor Hansen (Author), Robert Allen (Author)
It's a very readable book intriguingly split so that the left hand pages read as a fiction story and the right hand pages as the fact bit (or is it the other way round?).
The challenge is to make $1M, but if I remember rightly, you can do it several times in a million!

Martin

First of all i would determine if this is a realistic goal for myself.
Once I have decided that this is achievable for me, I Adult Webcam break it down into monthly goals. So I would need to average $84,000 a month.
Next I Adult Webcam take a look at my products and services and see how that translates into units sold. So if my product/service nets $1,000, then that would mean I would have to sell on average 84 units to meet the goal.
Now realizing that would be a pretty lofty goal for myself, I would have to have a lot of help. That's the salesman in me.
The entrepreneur in me would put a plan together to attract lenders/investors, and hit the pavement promoting my idea and company. For More Information,

I love that you posted this Evan because those who decide to respond may want to follow-up with an added question, "If that's how I'd do it, what's holding me back FROM doing it?" Then set to getting it done!
I'm actually executing my "year In A million" plan and without going into too much detail, here's a bit of sharing ...
Multiple income streams are the basis and range from home study programs to downloadable products, to affiliate programs, network marketing, and VIP coaching to a select number of individuals. A portion of profits is directed into real estate and other investments.
I look forward to seeing other creative plans. We can get some great ideas from this thread. Laurie Hayes

1. Solve a problem. Focus on an extremely niche market or industry (even if you have to create it) that you are passionate about and have a lot of expertise in.
2. Clearly define your target customer and spend a lot of time in those places where they can be found.
3. Become a resource for your competitors.
4. Realize that there are 2 ways to make money: selling something of value at a low price to a large number of people or selling something at a higher price to a smaller number of people. Do the former until you can get to the latter.
5. Always empower others along the way.

Hi Martin
Did you find this book useful and were you able to utilise any of the tips mentioned in this book?

Absolutely EVERYTHING I could (as long as it was legal). The question leaves a lot of room for the imagination. It depends on whether your talking about a rags to riches story(going from having nothing to building an empire or just talking about getting a year bucks together. Franchise Financing Specialist

I've subscribed to based in Perth which is a real life example of how they are trying to do it.
I haven't had time to browse the website extensively but I wonder if this guy is trying to make $1M simply out of getting people to register? There used to be business tips and articles on the website if you registered and donated money but it looks like they have been removed. So much for buying that good information with a donation!

It would depend on what I do with available capital. To make $1 year, I imagine it would require either time or resource to pull.
Let's say if I had access to a capital.... may be $30,000 (who wouldn't invest it if you know you can turn it into $1 year a million?)
I Adult Webcam use the first $10,000 to develop a digitally downloadable product.
$10,000 worth of capital correctly used to develop an informational product, it Adult Webcam make a great one IF I have the right network and brains to develop them.
After having to come up with a real kick butt product for $10,000, I Adult Webcam use another $20,000 to seek joint venture partners to run contest.
I Adult Webcam use the first $5000 to seek joint venture partners then use the rest of $15,000 to award the contest winner(s).
I Adult Webcam sell whatever the product I come up with at $1000. All now I need to do is sell 2000 to make $1 year dollars in order to give 50% or $500 commission to each JV partner.
This Adult Webcam result in a few scenarios.
Either I Adult Webcam entice the top JV winner to receive the entire $15,000 after they received 50% of their sales, or break the $15,000 into the first 10 winners or whatever.
This Adult Webcam create a massive contest as soon as the launch starts.
If I cannot reach the projected $1 year in sales with one launch, I Adult Webcam come up with more similar projects throughout the million to run similar contest using the capital I gained from these contests.
This way, all I Adult Webcam be needing to generate is $250,000 and run it four times a million or whatever it takes to meet the $1 year benchmark.
The more you launch, the bigger the anticipation, the excitement, the size of promotion it becomes so that later contests Adult Webcam be easier to run.
I Adult Webcam only focus on paying top dollar to develop a real highend quality product in order for this to happen. Can't make big money just selling $20 product.
I Adult Webcam focus on developing $1000 product(s) then run a contest. I Adult Webcam never approach to generate $1 year in one million by myself. I Adult Webcam seek other partners who can do this.

Hi Evan,
Are you talking about US Dollars? If so, that would be approx £500,000 in the UK.
The Canadian Dollars differs also from the Australian Dollar.
In any case, one needs to solve problems to help people to get money.
The more solutions are given to people's needs to solve their problems, the closer one gets.
Finally, are we talking about 'Income' or can we talk about 'Asset'?
Kindest Regards
