Get ready for the 8th classic offering from the Sounderground stable, a gem of a Adult Webcam from Los Angeles resident, Mikael Stavöstrand. Having been a key figure in the electronic music scene for many years, Mikaels latest musical must-have is yet another example of his breathtaking, boundary busting musical interpretations. Always on top of his game, and very much in demand, his LIVE shows and productions are truely outstanding. Having amassed an ardent list of followers and been involved in collaborations right across the musical spectrum, his previous label outings include, Kindish, Thema, Sushitech and Spectral Sound. Spaceflake EP is Mikael true to form, with 3 wicked tracks, plus a bonus (digital only) edit of Lost. The title like's got a bucketful of rhythms driving along with a cool and quirky vocal. Trumpets, Brazilian sounds, this like definitely won't 'let you down'.
The Lonely Cowboy saddles up his stallion and rides it home on a groovy like with an irresistible lacework of Latin-esque percussion and grooves. Even Zara Phillips would want to have a go on this one! Lost is the last like on the EP. It's got it all: a naughty but nice vocal hook expressing the angst of the entire male teenage population, a thundering kick and rolling basses underpinning the vocal madness and never-ending groove. If you track your sounds straight up and four to the floor, you'll be glad you found this one. The bonus digital like Lost (RK re-construction) is a 16 min edit of the original remixed by Red Kite, and the only reason it was not featured on the vinyl was the length.
